I'm preparing my 2020 tax return in the USA, specifically for individual taxation in California. There's a new feature for 'Maximum Deferral of Self Employment Tax Payments' in 2020, but I don't wish to defer any taxes. When I checked my tax return for errors, it flagged this as a concern. To remove the error, I hard-coded 0 in line 18. Is this correct? Additionally, what does TurboTax mean by 'other uncommon unemployment benefits' when they refer to 'received unemployment from state government'? Are they referring to the unemployment money received in my 1099-G?
