With the 3rd stimulus and the child tax credit being issued to people who filed this year, what happens to parents who claim the children every other year? For example, if my ex claimed the kids this year and it will be my turn to claim them in 2022, will the $3,000 she gets as part of the stimulus work against me next year or how will that work for co-parents like us in the upcoming future?

I exercised nonstatutory stock options that were included in my W2 as income for 2020. I received a 1099-B that shows the grant and exercise of stock, but the cost basis is showing a very low figure and not the value of the stock at grant and exercise. How should I report the cost on Schedule D? If I put the cost basis as reported on Form 1099-B, it would make me get taxed again.
