I received a letter from the IRS stating that I did not file my 2017 taxes. This is the first time I am using efile. I have a W2 for 2016. Would I be using 2017 software to file? How do I find out on the IRS website which tax years have been filed?

I filed my 2018 tax return in February and received a return for both state and federal taxes. I now need a copy of my 2018 return for a bankruptcy case. How can I obtain a copy or transcript of my 2018 tax return?

I received a CP2000 from the IRS for 2017, and we filed bankruptcy very late that year. They are trying to charge an underpayment penalty due to debt cancellation. I cashed out some 401(k)s that year, but I believe I paid the taxes and penalties on at least one of them. What should I do to address this issue?

I had a S Corporation for 15 years, closed it almost 2 years ago, and now the state of Louisiana is saying I owe back state taxes and has put a lien on my house. Can the state levy my personal property from a corporation, and would filing bankruptcy make the tax debt go away?
