I received a letter stating I need to file taxes to receive my 3rd stimulus check. I'm 46, on disability, and a widow with no minor dependents. I tried filing once but was unsuccessful. What should I do?

I took a 401k loan out pre-COVID and left my employer in June 2020. I have not rolled over my 401k nor am I able to make loan payments. What is the best option to avoid or minimize early withdrawal penalties, given that I used the funds for financial hardship and am 33 years old with 11 years of 401k contributions?

I have an LLC set up in South Dakota, and last year I filed joint-married income taxes in Washington state. The LLC's members are my wife and I, and we are in a year-long divorce process. I moved from Washington state to California last September. Our LLC's last substantial income was in November 2020, and since then, our sales have diminished tremendously. Would I be eligible to apply for the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program, and if so, which state should I apply through?

I didn’t make a tax payment with Form 510D in 2020. Can I still elect to PTEs for 2020 by filing Form 511?

I bought a preowned car and was charged over $3000 in taxes for optional items that were said to be included. They offered a credit deduction but did not include deducting the tax. I decided to buy a 2020 car because no new ones were available, but they now say they can get me the new one I originally wanted. I feel they should credit the tax amount as well because I will return the 2020 car as soon as I get the new one, and the new buyer would also pay tax on the same car. I will be paying tax on the new car, which will also be over $3000. Should they not be deducting the tax I paid since the car will go for resale again?
