I recently moved from Tennessee to Vermont and did not have to pay any state or federal taxes in Tennessee. I am retired, 76 years old, and my income in 2021 was $25,000 from Social Security only. Am I required to pay taxes in Vermont?

My wife and I both received $1400 3rd stimulus during 2021. Now when I’m filling out tax on TurboTax, I am asked if we have received the 3rd stimulus of $2800. When I answer yes, my tax owed goes up $2800, so we are essentially paying back the full amount in taxes. Is this correct?

My employer passed away in January 2022, and he paid me through Care.com. However, Care.com doesn't have all his necessary information to complete and send me a W2. I have electronic pay stubs showing how much tax was withheld each week, but I'm not sure how much went to Fed/SS/State. Can I still file my taxes with Turbo Tax without the W2?
