I set up my NYS estimated tax payments such that the first payment comes out of my refund, and the balance of the other three will be paid on the NYS website. The software knows that I must pay estimated for the other three times and $0 on April 18. However, the screen stating that I will pay estimated later shows that I have set up $0 for my total NYS tax payments, and the next screen in bright red states that I have to go to State Taxes because I have $0 for estimated. What should I do to resolve this issue?

I was told by TurboTax that my returns were rejected with a code IND-181-01 Identity Protection PIN, and I need to correct it. However, every time I try to log in to make the correction, TurboTax keeps trying to get me to redo my taxes from the beginning instead of just adding the PIN. Why is this happening, and how can I add the PIN to my return without starting over?
