I was a partner in an S-corporation with my ex. I left in 2019 and did not have access to any corporate files in early 2020. My ex was supposed to take care of the 2019 corporate taxes, but he didn't. We just received a $4,900 fine for not filing timely, and he wants me to pay half. I lived in the fourth house for just over nine months while major structural and cosmetic changes were being made on my primary residence. I want to sell the fourth house now. On Schedule G of Form 1120, it asks for the country of citizenship of a shareholder. I am a US resident for tax purposes because I pass the substantial presence test, but I don’t have US citizenship. I am Brazilian. What should I put as the answer?
