I am trying to wrap up my tax filing for 2020 and didn't receive my stimulus checks in 2021 because my taxes were not filed. Will I get the stimulus disbursed to me after completing my 2020 taxes? Additionally, my 2020 tax return was rejected and I was told to change my filing to Married filing Separate and owe $1410. Can I file my 2021 taxes independently, and if so, can I use my 2021 return to pay off the 2020 debt?
