Me and my recently married spouse just received our federal tax return. I assume it was a little short because I still owed from a previous year. Could you confirm that for me?

I need to check on the status of my tax refunds for 2020 and 2021. I filed my 2020 return in March and mailed my 2021 return in May. I am concerned about the delay and want to ensure everything is on track for my peace of mind.

It has been 4 months since I submitted my 2021 tax return expecting a refund. I have consistently checked the IRS website and called their numbers, but I only get recordings. I need to know the status of my refund and why it has taken this long. Additionally, I noticed that the tax preparer did not check 'SINGLE' on my 1040, which I was concerned might be affecting my refund.

Does Section 179 depreciation get booked in accumulated depreciation and on the Income Statement even though it flows through to K1 on 1120S? If it is booked after the tax return, would retained earnings be off? Is depreciation booked on Scorp 179? Into what account? If prior year depreciation for Section 179 was not booked, would I need to journal to retained earnings and then close retained earnings to the capital account?

I received a CP2000 notice stating I missed a W2 and need to file an amendment. I am confused about whether to agree with the CP2000 adjustments or file a Form 1040X. What should I do?
