My 2020 tax refund is still held up and my 2021 refund seems to be delayed as well. I am a 72-year-old widow with no dependents, living in Cleveland, TN, and my typical filing status is married filing jointly. I made approximately $18,000 in 2020, which included $9,800 from work and $427 from social security. I had to send my husband's death certificate and fill out a form as a surviving spouse, and I received a letter from the IRS for 2021 asking for the same documents. How do I resolve the delay in my refunds and what should I do for next year's filing?

I filed with TurboTax and was accepted, but received a letter stating I owe an additional $2100 in taxes due to the Recovery Rebate Credit. My bank statements do not show any rebate deposit. What should I do to resolve this issue?

I mailed my 2021 tax return to the IRS on 02/09/2022, but the refund of $1,283.00 has not been deposited into my checking account. I mistakenly checked 'Married Filing Separately' instead of 'Married Filing Jointly' but attached all required documents for me and my wife. What should I do now?

I have a large NOL carryforward since 2008. Every year up until I started my own business, it has wiped out any and all taxes owed. When I switched from using Lacerte to Turbo Tax due to the expense, that changed. If I have a NOL carryforward, should it wipe out all taxes? If ordinary income becomes zero, do I pay no taxes, including self-employment? What line on the 1040S should the NOL carryforward go on? Turbo Tax does not transfer it. Am I allowed to amend back to the 2020 tax year?
