I work in a hybrid role where I have to go to the office 2 to 3 times per month. My commute is 127 miles from home and it takes me about 3 hours due to traffic. Sometimes I stay in a hotel the night before to avoid the early morning traffic. Can I deduct my lodging expenses and mileage for tax purposes?
