My current age is 78 and my retirement age was 66. When my wife and I retired in 2009, we chose not to have our social security taxed. Now it looks like we should. Can we begin having withholding tax withdrawn? If so, what steps do we have to take?

I need to file our taxes but I don't have my deceased husband's W2s or pay stubs from last year. Is there a way to get them from the IRS? He passed away Feb. 2 of this year. Do I need to use a CPA? I always have done our taxes but am lost about this.
