My employer offers health insurance with two plans: one where the company pays the full premium and another where the employee pays a small monthly amount. If the company has a Cafeteria plan, the employee's portion is deducted on a pre-tax basis. If the employee also covers their spouse, would the premium paid for the spouse also be deducted pre-tax?

As a California resident taking a contract job in Ohio for the entire 2018 year, is there any tax benefit to forming an LLC for this tax year? If so, would it be better to form in Ohio or California, and would I be able to itemize my move/travel to Ohio and any subsequent trips home during the tax year?

I need a copy of my 2016 tax return. My copier failed, and I used TurboTax to file, but they had errors on their copy to correct. They sent my forms to print out and send in, but I have no copy to send in. How can I get a copy of my 2016 tax return?

I am looking for a way to get my 2003 W2 or tax return to prove that I was a resident in my state in 2003. I cannot find any official documents and am hoping I filled this information on my federal returns. I lived in another state for the first half of the year.

I am closing down a C corp that my wife and I own (100% of the stock). The C corp has a stockholder loan (owed by the company) of approximately $25,000 on the books to us that will be worthless when the company closes down. There are no assets to disburse or cover the shareholder loan. How would we represent the stockholder loan on the company books when it closes? How do we handle the loss (worthless shareholder loan) personally? This would be in addition to the loss on the stock.
