My father recently passed away, and I need to determine whether I need to file his taxes. His source of income was social security and a pension. He passed away on March 26, 2021, and there is a surviving spouse who now receives his social security and pensions. I thought that once someone reached a certain age, they no longer had to file taxes. Additionally, I want to know if social security is taxable income and if my mother should have received a form from the Social Security Administration to use for filing taxes.

I ordered an item on July 2nd, with a promised delivery date of July 12th, but the item has not been shipped and there is no tracking information. I paid $115 plus shipping and tax. What should I do to resolve this issue?

I had a house on my farm property that was a rental (I fill out 4835) that burned down. I received a payment from the insurance company. Is that money taxable?

Is it too late to file my 2018 taxes, and do I need a business license if I am providing services as myself, using a name and website, even if I did not make enough to file as a traditional business?

I'm filling out a W-4 form. How do I know how much to take out for taxes, especially considering I'm not married, pay child support for one child, have a job already working 4-5 days a week, owe the IRS for 2017 and 2018, and am starting a new job that will be 12 hours a day, 3 days a week?
