My mom passed away in 2020. Her estate is due a refund, and I have received two letters from the IRS stating not to send additional information as her tax refund is being processed. The last letter was received in January of last year. How do I follow up on the status of this refund?

Am I able to send a 1099 to someone who I lent money and won’t pay me back, as an individual, not as a business? Is there any way to send a 1099 to someone who owes you money plus interest?

I forgot that I still have about 2500 income from my other employer and I finished filling my tax. I filed my income tax already. I want to know if I could still adjust it but haven’t received my W2 from them but I have my last pay statement. How can I handle this situation?
