This person enrolled for health insurance for the year 2020 and received a premium tax credit based on his income as a single person. In summer 2020, he got married and is now filing his taxes jointly with his wife, but since their combined income is higher than the income on which the premium tax credit was based, they have a balance due. Is there a way to fix this issue?

I work as an independent contractor in Massachusetts doing property inspections. I file taxes on a 1040 form and have a separate EIN number as a sole proprietor. For tax purposes, would it make more sense for me to incorporate? Also, if I incorporate, can I keep my EIN number?

I received a distribution from my 401k in 2020 and split it into three years on my federal tax return, but my state (Arkansas) is not allowing me to split it up. What will happen on my state tax for the next 2 years? Will I get taxed repeatedly for the full amount?

I received a letter stating we would be getting our stimulus check on 2/1/21, and it should be in the bank within 7-10 days. We are both retired and on Social Security. Do you have any minor dependents? What is your typical filing status? Do you know roughly what you made this year? Is there anything else the Accountant should know before I connect you?
