I got married in Feb. 2010. My husband is not employed and has not filed taxes in years due to feeling the back taxes were incorrect. I want to file my taxes this year but am unsure whether to file married filing separately, leaving his name off, or jointly so I can claim him as a dependent. Should I file separately or jointly, and will filing jointly raise a red flag with the IRS regarding his past tax issues?
