If you are found eligible for the EIDL loan and are self-employed, can you use the loan funds to pay yourself? The funds are explained vaguely as to be used as “working capital” but that includes payroll. How does this work in the case of being self-employed?

Have requirements changed where the IRS is capturing stimulus payments? The taxpayer did not receive the 1st or 2nd stimulus payments and owes taxes. When entering his data into tax software, his stimulus payments are deducted from his balance due.

I have been given Letters of Administration for my sister’s estate and need to file her 2020 income tax return. She died on June 19, 2020, and I have most of her 1099 documents but not one from the IRS. I also don’t know when she last filed her return. Who can help me and what should I do?

I'm 20 years old, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with no dependents, and I made approximately $1650 this year. I'm a non-resident alien. Is there anyone who can help me review my tax forms?

I sold a house in Oregon for $175,000, which was my first home. I sold it on an installment note, receiving a down payment of $28,000 and monthly payments of $1,058, with additional lump sums. The buyer paid off the note in 2020 with payments totaling $81,000. I have been paying federal taxes on the proceeds each year. This year, I am facing a federal tax of $3,705 and a state tax of $2,461. Why am I being taxed so much on a house I sold, especially when I have already paid taxes on it? Can you explain this?
