Why didn't I get the 2nd stimulus check? I am 78 years old with no dependents, a widow in 2019, and my gross income was $68,841. I had to take out some investments due to an emergency, which increased my income.

My company was sold and I had a loan on my Roth 401k of about $6900. The new management team for the company that purchased our company would not take on the loan. I was 56 when the sell happened. I received a 1099 for the loan amount. I had read that if you were over 55 and your company is sold, I would not be penalized since I am over 55. When I do my taxes, it has me owing money. Is that correct?

I didn't receive the second $600 stimulus check, but my mom did. Now, the $1,400 stimulus is coming out, and both my mom and I should be getting it. I'm on Social Security and don't file for income taxes. Will I be getting the $1,400 stimulus check?
