I have an interesting and lovely little cup and saucer. The total height is approximately 9cm, the saucer diameter is 14cm, and the diameter at the cup rim is 8.5cm. There are character marks on both pieces. I would like to know what this type of style is called, particularly noting the sculptured handle that flows with the decoration, which also extends out from the circular form of the cup and saucer. Is it Japanese or Chinese? Who made it and when? What is its value?
