I am looking for an expert familiar with Charles I. D. Looff, his work, style, concepts, and designs, to evaluate a small carved object. I have previously connected with an expert who concluded that a carved horse statue I own is not a carousel horse and lusterware, but I have since collected more information pointing to Looff. I found a small bag that looks like good quality and has never been used. It's 8” x 6”, has a tag that says La Royale, China, and weighs approximately 5 oz. The zipper works well, but I'm unsure if it was intended to be a purse, a toiletries bag, or something else. What do you think it is and what is its value?
