I am shipping furniture, clocks, and paintings to the East Coast and need an appraisal for insurance purposes. The paintings were done by my great grandfather, W. R. Symonds, who was a painter in the Antwerp tradition. I have a modern one that I bought in the UK in 2011. One clock is a long-case clock from ~1750 and another is a fusil clock, mid-19th century. What condition is the painting in, and is there anything else the Appraiser should know before I connect you?
