I have a few authentic Persian rugs in pristine condition that I'd like to get appraised. I purchased them from a dealer in Gardez, Afghanistan in 2007. All 3 were purchased brand new and have been in storage ever since being shipped back to the US.

I have two old oil on canvas paintings my dad got in Alaska where he grew up. Both are 31 inch by 24 inch, one in landscape and one in portrait position. The frames say Anco Built in GlenDale NY. The artist signature is M. Massey. One painting is of a dog sled team with an Eskimo mother and child on the sled, and the second is three caribou on a landscape. The paintings are from 1900 to 1950 and in good condition. What is the value and history of these paintings?
