I'd like to learn about my grandmother's silver flatware, which I believe she got from her mother. The G is for their last name 'Gersoni.' What do the different symbols on the back mean? Who made these? How do I figure out the value of a full flatware set if I were to sell it?

I have a World War 1 era military postcard with a soldier and the words 'on guard for democracy'. It is postmarked in Pennsylvania in 1918 and has two 1 cent green stamps on it. What is the value of the postcard and the stamps, either separately or as a whole?
