I found an old painting while clearing a deceased estate. It has no paperwork, is wrapped in oil paper and Hessian, has a couple of small holes, and the frame is crumbling. I suspect it was gifted to my 95-year-old uncle at least 50 years ago by an elderly immigrant from Italy. Can I send a photo for appraisal, and what should I do with it if it's not valuable?
