I have 12 Spode Copeland 9” plates (style R6405 handwritten in orange on the back) that were purchased in the late 1920s / early 1940s. The plates have an unusual marking under the style number that looks like a number nine with the round part colored in, also in orange. Most of the plates are in very good condition with signs of wear mostly on the inner ring of the gold pattern, and none are chipped. What is the possible worth of these plates?

I inherited a 69-piece Edelstein Bavarian Moss Rose Maria-Theresia china set from my mother, who received it as a wedding gift from her mother and brought it to America in the 1960s.
