I have a 10-year-old vanity bottle set that is very dusty and tarnished. It has 'Elkington & Co.' on the bottom with some odd shapes and a number above that. The bottles fit into a small vanity or oil set. The bottles have sketches in them, two have sterling silver tops, one has a glass top like a liquor canister, and the last bottle does not have a top. What is the value and history of this set?

I have a painting by W. Herme. Is it of any value, and has anyone heard of the artist or if it was just a hobby? The painting is in very good condition, but there is no writing on the back, and the age is unknown.
