I have a bronze dragon ewer from the 1800s. It seems to have been modified into a lamp by the previous owner. I would like to know its origin and worth. What condition is the item in, and is there anything else the appraiser should know before I connect you?

Hello, can you appraise this book please? The book is “Dickens’ Stories about Children” with a 1929 copyright. The cover has a minor 2” tear along the spine, but otherwise, it is in good condition. I’m not sure if it’s a first edition.
