I have a candy dish with a pedestal holding a naked lady in silver and a light brown glass dish on top. The maker's mark includes 'F', another mark in the middle, and 'HC'. There are patent numbers 57496 and 19240 beneath that. My mother received it as a wedding present in 1947 from Farber Brothers. Can you tell me anything about it?

I own a working Singer Sewing machine, believed to be from 1948 or 1950, complete with cabinet number 72 in walnut, catalog # BAJ3-8, and serial number AJ676757. It includes attachments in the original box and a buttonhole attachment with a 1948 manual. What do you think the value is?

Is this silver? Pure? Will a silver refinery take these? Are these items magnetic, and can they be silver if they aren't? How can I confirm if these items are silver?
