I have a chandelier that my grandson wants me to sell. I found a similar one on eBay worth $6,500, but I don't know if mine is worth anything. Where would the maker's mark be, and what else should I know about it?

We are cleaning out china cabinets that belonged to my mother-in-law and are not sure of the value of most of the items. Can you assist? The china cabinet is over 50 years old, in excellent condition, and has a label on the back. We also have a lot of glassware, carnival glass, and china.
