I have a very old picture in a frame I bought at an auction in St. Louis 35 years ago. The frame is gilt wood, has the original glass, and is in excellent condition. The frame is almost like two frames in one, with the internal frame allowing the picture to appear as if floating on the wall. The picture inside is of a middle-aged man playing the cello and a young girl in a Victorian satin ball gown.
