I have a couple of furniture pieces that I would like to have appraised. They appear to be Moorish Syrian pieces from the 18th or 19th century. One is a folding chair and the other is a blanket chest. The chest has a crack on the top and is slightly bowing. Can you provide an appraisal and any additional information that might be useful?

I would like to know more about a rocking chair. It has a maker's mark and is from New Orleans Furniture Mfg Co. Some parts are loose, and I do not know its age. Is there anything else important the Antiques Appraiser should know?
