While thrift shopping, I came across a Royal Meridian couple figurine. The figurine is 10.5" tall, 7.5" wide, and 4.5" deep, with excellent sculpting, painting, and detail work. I have read conflicting comments about Royal Meridian Ware, with some suggesting it's made in Japan for sale in Germany, and others saying it's made in Germany for Noritake. I haven't seen this specific pair anywhere and am quite confused. Any help would be appreciated.

I would like an appraisal on this Japanese boxwood 'dog & puppy' netsuke. There is a signature to the base. 4cm high. No condition issues. The eyes are made from a different material, possibly glass or amber, and are very uniform. Can you provide an estimated value and determine if it is from the Meiji period or more contemporary?
