I have a four-door buffet/sideboard with a glass curio on top that I inherited and know to be more than 60 years old. It is in sturdy condition with no scratches or damage. How do I get it valued for insurance purposes, and what are the potential selling avenues if I decide to sell it?

I just purchased a painting by Lilia Orlova-Holmes at an estate sale. I was curious about its appraised value. The painting is in excellent condition, approximately 40" by 40", and does not seem very old. The artist is currently painting similar abstract apple tree pieces. Is there any info on the back of the painting, or a certificate of authenticity?

I have a vintage pottery sugar bowl signed "Kendall" on the bottom and "BK" on the inside of the lid. Is this Betty Kendall? Where was her studio? The piece has a lovely handcrafted wren on the top, and I bought it in 1979 in a local (Athens GA) craft shop. It is in excellent condition, but I never thought to research the maker.

I have a bust that looks like it might be King David. I bought it at an estate sale years ago. It is approximately 10 inches tall. The bottom says CC and there are 4 tiny round holes in the bottom that are about the size of an eyeglass repair screw. Can you provide any information about this bust?

I would like to know the value of my grandfather's China cabinet. I believe it was his mother's from the 1880s. It has no makers marks and is in good condition, though dusty.

Please provide a narrative of the era, originality, value, etc., for a table and chair set with some repair to the wood on the scroll work at the tops of the backs. The set is in great condition for its era, and the leaf insertion mechanism works fine. The top surface is glass etched with gold scroll painting, not laminated but inlaid scroll.
