I have a beautiful silk rug that I want appraised. It is not a standard oriental rug, and I don’t know what kind it is. I paid $4500 for it 25 years ago. It is mostly black but has three beautiful florals on one corner in pink, sea foam, and a bit of lilac. The rug is in perfect condition but probably needs cleaning and has never been walked on. Does the rug have a maker's mark or serial number, and where would that be?
