We have two strings of carnelian and feyon beads, some are amulets and scarabs from ancient Egypt that are over 3,000 years old. These came from my wife's great uncle who traveled the world about 100 to 120 years ago. What would be the value of these? Also, how do you go about getting these necklaces authenticated? What would be ways to sell these items and who would be the buyer for these kinds of items? Additionally, we have a third necklace made with amulets and feyon beads that are from ancient Egypt that are over 3,000 years old. Would the value of this necklace be less or greater than 1/2 of the first two necklaces?

I have two Capodimontes that I cannot find in any catalog. The first is an Armani peasant (or gypsy) woman with a basket of roses on her shoulder, approximately 12" tall on a wooden base. The second is a Merli donkey with two children riding him, approximately 10" tall on a wooden base. Both are part of a collection I inherited from the 1980s or earlier. I would like to know their current market value for potential insurance purposes.
