I have an old wooden world globe with a diameter of about 8 inches, sitting in a wooden stand. The astrological signs are on the stand and circle the globe. The tag on the bottom of the stand reads 'made in Italy' and the map is old world. How old is this globe?

I have a set of 10 Children's Classics books published by the John C. Winston Company. The copyright dates range from 1923 to 1925. The titles include Robin Hood, Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, Kidnapped, Black Beauty, Tales from Shakespeare (Charles & Mary Lamb), Dickens' Stories About Children, The Arabian Nights, Treasure Island, Heidi, and Robinson Crusoe. What is the current value of this set, and is there anything else important to know about them?
