I have an old lamp with no labels or marks about the maker. I am interested in knowing how old it is, who made it, and how much it might be worth. The lamp appears to have been made from a vase with a 'made in Japan' stamp, which was drilled through to convert it into a lamp.

The set is brand new, still in the original box, and has never been used, with each piece individually wrapped in plastic. It comes with a black leather case. The set was received by my parents when they were married, approximately 70 to 72 years ago. The original price on the box is $150.00. What is the current value of this set?
