I have a large Alexandrite from Russia that was my mother's. I am trying to get it appraised. The item is in great condition and is a ring. My mother has had it since I was a little girl, and I am now 58 years old. Is there anything else the appraiser should know before I connect you?

I have several Ethan Allen furniture pieces from the early 1980s, including a small chest of drawers, a television cabinet, a small cabinet with doors, a stereo cabinet, and a large chest of drawers. Some pieces have discoloration and scratches, while others are in pristine condition. Can each piece be appraised separately?
