The set has been in my family since the 1930s and was likely purchased at an antique shop in New York or New Jersey during that time. Could you tell me what you think this 6 Panel Ornate Asian Room Divider is worth? The screen is described as a beautiful example of artistry, made from bone and lacquered panels, depicting an oriental scene of Chinese origin with women and various hobbies and skills. It features black lacquer with gold paint, abalone shells in detail, and bone sculpture. The six panels are two-sided, with one side carved bone and the other with gold paint. Dimensions are Width 16 inches, Height 72 inches, Depth 1 inch.
