I have a marble sculpture of a lady, approximately 26 inches tall, created in the late 19th century, signed by P. Bazzanti - Firenze. The sculpture is in very good to excellent condition and features a wreath headdress and a lyre or similar instrument in her hands. I would like to get a formal appraisal and then find a museum, university, or school to donate it to. Are there any unique markings or symbols on the sculpture, and what is its potential value?

I have a whimsical porcelain figurine of a toad and rat riding a bicycle. It's large (9.5” tall on a 9” base) and quite heavy. Sadly, there are no markings in it. How can I determine its value and origin?

How does this work? I have over a thousand items that need to be appraised over the next few weeks, but I don't want to travel all over to get it done, especially with how much there is, and I also don't want to spend a fortune getting everything appraised. The items range from Victorian era photos to unopened Star Trek toys, pottery, hand-carved statues, and porcelain dolls from her travels all over the world. Everything was kept in plastic totes and boxes, with the house packed floor to ceiling on 3 floors and a large two-story shed that was also full.

Can you tell me the value/resale value of this piece? I do have a certificate of authenticity.

The signature on an artwork looks a bit like Andre or Andres. What can be done to better identify the signature?
