I have an oil painting that appears to be in an antique frame, attributed to Frans Oerter with a still life of magnolias. I bought it at a yard sale for $7 about 20 years ago. The painting has a few cracked areas in the paint, but I don't know its exact age or condition. How can I determine if it's an original and get it appraised?
