I have a book from author Jules Verne, 'Vingt mille lieues sous les mers,' illustrated by de Neuville and Riou, engraved by Hildibrand, published by J. Hetzel, 18 rue Jacob, Paris. The book is a French version 1st illustrated edition of 20,000 leagues under the sea, with a J.P. Hall, book order form dated 1878 attached. Is this considered a collectors item? What is the value?

I have an oil painting on canvas with an unreadable signature that appears to have been painted in 1945. I am trying to identify the artist and get an appraisal. I have a picture of the signature, which seems to be "Tri" followed by an "s" or "a" and a "pi" or "m". The painting was framed in London at The Railings Gallery, 34 Thayer Street, and I bought it at a charity sale. How can I identify the artist and get an appraisal for this painting?
