I have a serving set (coffee, tea, sugar, creamer) that I acquired from a relative in Italy in 1956, and that had been in the family for at least 20 years prior. The mark on the bottom of each piece reads: 800 [within an oval] CALDERONI 103 [vertical line] H. The pieces polish up beautifully, but I don't know if they are sterling. Does the mark indicate anything of value? Or do I need to continue my search elsewhere?

I have a family heirloom pie safe that has been in my family for over 100 years. It has been painted several times and was stored in a coal shed, so it was very dirty. The back leg is patched where it was broken, and it has been professionally stripped of paint and finished with a danish oil or rubbed-on finish. The expert who worked on it said it was made of poplar, and the shelves are very smooth despite some remaining stains. I'm curious about its value and potential places to sell it if I ever decided to.
