I have 8 shieldback dining chairs that are possibly from around 1880, with upholstered backs, two types of wood, and a French or Louis style. They were purchased from a fine antique auction 25 years ago. How old are they? What are they worth? What is the period?

I have an Atlas hair clipper still in the original box, with directions, an extra attachment to cut longer hair, and an extra spring. It is in excellent condition and has "No 0000" stamped inside the left handle. I found this in an abandoned home in Illinois over 40 years ago and was just curious if it has any value, especially considering the unique "0000" number.
