I have three oil paintings on canvas of cats, one with three orange cats on the ground, another with two grey cats in a brown basket, and a third with two cats playing on a billiard table with a red billiard ball. I have a set of dishes from my grandmother that she received when she got married 90 years ago. The mark on the back is a red stamp with 'EMBASSY China' stamped in the middle of a red design with 'Japan' in very tiny letters underneath. The dishes are light green with a ring of flowers in yellow, pink, blue, and pink. The center of the dishes are white with a gold design and another group of flowers in the center. What is the value of these dishes and what is the timeframe they were produced?

I purchased a painting by Charles Hessemer titled 'Thirteen Oranges--modernist' about 30 years ago from Merrill Chase art gallery. The painting features a table with 13 oranges and a background of oranges, sized 26" high by 31" wide including an ornate gold leaf frame. I do not want to sell but would like an appraisal.
