What is the process to get information on a painting? I can't make out the artist's signature. The subject may be Marilyn Monroe. I think it is similar in style to the pin-ups from the 50s & 60s.

Hi Doris - This platter has heavy gold accents in extremely good condition. It is 13-1/8" long. The bottom is unglazed and has a "U" stamped and a possible impression that "could" be a swan (unlikely) or a signature, or possibly just a scrape? Also, this piece is considerably thicker than I am used to. Can you provide any information?
