I have inherited an antique desk with a plaque that says 'Restored Sept 1980 * * Duff' and a wooden carved detail with an inlayed leather top surface. I would like to know the approximate year it was made, its type, and its value. Additionally, I was told it was used by President Nixon at one point.

It seems overwhelming to sell individual pieces of Royal Doulton china, various Wedgewood pieces, and assorted silver and china items for $15-20 each, and most auction places are not interested. Should we just donate all the china, and does anyone accept this kind of donation?

I have a question about the history and value of a housecoat/robe. I believe it to be vintage (maybe 1970s/1980s) but not sure. It is a pink (polyester?) lacey chiffon over a polyester-ish pink plain fabric. No size is indicated. Length from back to bottom is 56”. Shortsleeved. Label is: styled by Morsam.
