I inherited a dining room set from my mother, who purchased it around 1974 when it was already 75 years old. The set includes a china cabinet, a buffet/sideboard, and a dining table. The china cabinet has numbers 24, 3605, 100, BB on the back, and the buffet has a Peck & Hills label and a Batesville Cabinet Company Hillenbrand Industries Master-Made Furniture stamp. The pieces are hand-carved with floral scroll work. I would like to know the age, type/period, and value of the pieces for insurance purposes.
