We have a red mahogany silver chest that is 38" tall, 22" wide, and 16" deep. The legs are curved, and the top has a lockable drop-down door with 3 lined drawers for place settings. Below this door is another drawer, also lined with a cover fabric for serving pieces. The original key is with the piece. On the right side, below the ledge under the drop door, is a metal piece shaped like a heavily branched tree. It is in excellent condition. What could I expect to get at a consignment store for a piece such as this?

I have a set of china made by Jyoto in the Christmas Rose pattern. I'd like to know the value of the pieces and if there is a way to determine approximately when it was made. The set includes a platter, serving bowl, creamer and sugar bowl, plate, bread and butter plate, bowl, cup/saucer sets, and a couple of other pieces.
